BIDSIM HELP CENTER

What can we help you with?

Clear answers for getting started, saving from Chrome, organizing shopping and managing your account.

01

Getting started

Create and verify your account+

Register with email and a password, accept the Privacy Policy and Terms, then open the verification link sent to your inbox. You can also use Google sign-in when it is enabled for your BidSim installation.

Choose your shopping country+

Open Settings and select the country you normally shop in. BidSim places that region first in search and uses it to prioritize relevant stores, products and coupons. Worldwide remains available when you want broader results.

02

Stores and products

Save a store+

Use Search, Manual add, or the Chrome extension’s “Save store to BidSim” command. BidSim stores the shop name, domain and icon. You can later add a category, tags, a favorite status and a private note.

Save a product+

Save the exact product page so its title, link, image and price remain easy to find. A product can be edited, assigned to a category or collection, marked by status, or removed at any time.

Categories and collections+

Use categories for long-term organization such as Fashion, Auto or Home. Use collections for a specific plan such as Birthday gifts, Kitchen renovation or Summer trip. A product can belong to the context that makes sense to you.

03

Chrome extension

Install and connect the extension+

Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked and select the BidSim chrome-extension folder. Open BidSim in the browser, sign in, then use Connect account in the extension.

Save from the right-click menu+

On a shop page, right-click and choose either “Save store to BidSim” or “Save product to BidSim”. The extension intentionally does not provide a generic “save page” command because BidSim is focused on shopping.

Understand the saved indicator+

The extension icon and status show when the current store or product already exists in your organizer. This helps prevent accidental duplicates.

04

Coupons

How coupon matching works+

BidSim checks active coupon data and matches offers to saved store domains and relevant products. Country availability and expiration dates are respected. Not every saved store will always have an active offer.

Expired coupons and notifications+

Expired offers are removed automatically. When a new matching coupon appears, BidSim can create an in-app notification. Optional email updates depend on your Account preferences.

05

Purchases

Record a purchase+

Open Purchase History and choose Record purchase. Select a store and, when relevant, a saved product. Add the purchase date, total, currency, status, order number and any notes you may need later.

Use purchase history later+

Purchase records help with warranties, returns, repeat orders and remembering what you paid. They remain separate from saved products, so planning and completed purchases do not become mixed together.

06

Account and privacy

Password, email and sign-in+

Use Account to update your display name, password and email preferences. Forgot password sends a limited-life reset link. Google sign-in never shares your Google password with BidSim.

Control, export or delete your data+

You can edit or remove stores, products, categories, collections and purchase records. Under Account → Your data you can download a complete JSON export or permanently delete the account after confirming your email, typing DELETE and, when applicable, entering the current password.
